Sandeep Mehta - Co-CEO He was co-founder and CEO of PCS, a 20 year old premier IT consulting and application development firm. PCS began operations in 1990 and he grew the firm organically to over 100 employees and 26 Fortune 500 customers. In 1997, PCS established an off-shore subsidiary in India. He successfully spun off nPhase LLC from PCS in 2000. After growing the company organically for 4 years, he helped raise $3M in capital at the end of 2003. This company developed highly successful, proprietary software products for the emerging machine-to-machine and remote monitoring market. The firm was sold to Qualcomm at the end of 2006 in a profitable transaction. Rick Madock - Co-CEO In 2000 Rick was co-founder and CEO of InsuranceNoodle, an Internet-enabled wholesaler of small commercial property and casualty insurance products and one of the five fastest growing insurance agencies in North America. The business was sold to the Willis Group in 2007. Prior to founding InsuranceNoolde, Rick served as President of CNA Small Commercial Insurance with P&L responsibility for the $3B commercial insurance business segment. At Chicago Title and Trust (a subsidiary of Alleghany Corp) Rick held several key executive level roles eventually becoming a Senior Vice President. He was a member of the Chairman’s Office, with P&L responsibility for a major business unit, and led implementation of corporate initiatives delivering increased market share, post-merger integration, business process improvement and profitable growth. Areas of expertise include operations effectiveness and efficiency, growth strategies, business/IT alignment and e-Commerce. In addition, Rick has led transformational efforts focused on market expansion, innovation, performance improvement, new product development and distribution channel strategy. Rick earned an MBA from the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management at Claremont University and a BA from San Diego University. |

Ash Perti - CFO
With over 30 years experience in managing Operations and Finance functions in IT and technology businesses, Ash Perti oversees Finance at PTS. Ash is an experienced, results oriented Business Manager and is thoroughly familiar with developing cost models for Enterprise Architecture, Application and Infrastructure Solutions Delivery, Business Process Management, SaaS, Systems Integration and directing large IT operations organizations.
Ash is experienced with application portfolio analysis techniques, IT value determination and ROI. He has worked with multiple Fortune 500 clients managing the implementation of technical and application solutions.
He has held various senior management positions with P&L responsibility at Fortune 500 organizations including EDS, Ameritech, SBC, Caremark and Exelon Corporation.
As a General Manager at Caremark Retail Services, Ash held P&L and Business Operations responsibility. At SBC, he was a Merger Consultant, with a leadership role in the merger and integration of two multi-billion dollar businesses. He also served at PCS as the SVP of Operations and Finance.
Ash earned his MS in Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and is a CPIM. He’s Gartner and Meta certified in Enterprise Architecture Costing.
Steve Pazol – Founder, Board Member
Steve Pazol is president, nPhase, a Verizon Wireless / Qualcomm joint venture, where he directs all aspects of the company’s operations, strategic development and execution. nPhase provides machine-to-machine (M2M) wireless communications and smart services offerings across a wide variety of market segments, including healthcare, manufacturing, utilities, distribution and consumer products. Previously Pazol was vice president and general manager for the Global Smart Services group for Qualcomm Enterprise Services, the group that provided the basis for the newly formed joint venture.
Pazol is a seasoned entrepreneur and CEO with a 20+ year track record of successful startups in high technology and emerging markets, including M2M (machine to machine), enterprise software and wireless technologies. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Pazol was the co-founder and CEO of the original nPhase which was acquired by Qualcomm in 2006.
A recognized thought leader and industry expert, Pazol has received numerous awards, including the prestigious Chicago Innovation Award, was named one of the original 10 M2M Pioneers by M2M Magazine, and served as moderator of the first M2M web log—M2Mblog. He has written numerous articles in technology journals, is on the Advisory Board of M2M Magazine, was the technical editor of the Unicenter Advisor magazine for more than 7 years as well as guest editor of Internet Security Advisor. He is also the technical editor and co-author of Unicenter TNG for Dummies. A frequent speaker at industry conferences, Pazol has also been a featured speaker and panel member at multiple Wharton School of Business, University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and Northwestern Business School entrepreneurial classes.
Prior to founding nPhase, Pazol spent 15 years providing consulting and systems implementation services in the information technology field as President of Professional Consulting Services, Inc. and co-founder of Mehta & Pazol Consulting Services Pvt. Ltd. in Pune, India. In 2005 and 2006, Steve was also acting CEO of Skychain, a joint venture between nPhase, LLC and Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.
